I was already going to buy the game and the demo just backed it up. I didn't know the game would feel so relaxing. I think it might have been the clean look coupled with the music. Either way great impression from the demo. Wish i could have done the time trail though.
Yeah i definitely like their review process. Also i don't think their bias but their writing style is almost always peppered with satire.
You could have done a little better. You could have compared Resistance 2 to Haze then praise Gears 2. I give your effort a solid B. You still have a while to go before you hit the top of the food chain like GiantEnemeyCrab.
That's a pretty good score. I'm still not going to buy (or rent) R2 since well the first one was a bit above average shooter and i have no interest in the sequel despite the cliff hanger ending. But this one does look better.
I wouldn't say "never ever" because this is just one generation after manhandling the competition for two straight generations. Even the Mighty Nintendo fell off with the Gamecube and to a lesser extent N64.

I have to say. That Mirrors Edge limited edition bag is pretty sweet. And i hate tot bags.
Nice. I'm already going to buy Mirrors Edge no matter what, but getting a nice sampling will be cool.
Ah yes the little kid that asked you if you had anything to eat. I remember killing him my first time because i didn't think he would die. Second time i went through the game i gave him some chocolate.
I forgot Sega made Valkyrie Chronicles. That game looks pretty good and i don't like JRPG's. I like to see Sega doing good. Now if only they could make a Sonic game without any gimmicks and straight up speed....
Might Sega be making a small comeback? Between this, Madworld and Bayonetta Sega seems to be looking better.

That wasn't cool man. I know this is the open zone and all. But that wasn't cool at all. Probably one of the lowest things you can do as a gamer. I would have been tight if i got spoiled on the ending for MGS4.
As everyone has said this just amazing. But the best part of the video? Did you see those improved animations? Seriously they're MUCH better than how they looked before. They're much smoother and look like the helghasts actually has weight to them with every step. Also the speech sounds good and the VA wasn't that cheesy.
I like the intense difficulty. I think the Co-Op needs 1 more class though.
@thanatos: I played the Co-Op with a buddy and we got MURDERED. It's the same as playing with 8 people.
I'm waiting on Alan Wake to Ps3 myself ;).
I don't plan on shooting people when i do get the game. But disarming them and then running like hell seems to be a good plan. When i got to that swat guy i just hit bullet time and ran across the wall. Then i hoofed it and jumped to those stairs.
